Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta on Friday while issuing the draft publication of electoral roll as a part of summary revision for 200 assembly constituencies stated that there are 4.88 crore registered voters in the state. Of the total voters, 2.54 crore are male voters and 2.34 are female voters. Currently, there are 52,009 polling booths at 36,161 locations across 200 assembly constituencies.
