The annual Jagannath Rath Yatra, which was on hold for the past two years because of the pandemic, passed through Udaipur's old city streets, amidst heavy security arrangements in the wake of tailor Kanhaiya Lal's murder and subsequent protests. The Yatra began at 3pm from Jagdish ji Temple in Jagdish Chowk near City Palace amidst a large gathering of devotees decked up in traditional Mewari attire.
